Six

[ Bunny’s POV ]

I walked into our school’s cafeteria and saw Changmin seated at our usual table.

“ Oppa ! “ I walked over to join him.

“ Hey, lil sis. You look pretty happy. Any good news to share? “ He turned around to look at me.

“ Hmm? Not really. “ I smiled. “ Where’s Jaejoong oppa? “

“ He went to the washroom. I think he’ll be back soon. There he is!” He pointed to the direction Jaejoong was coming from.

“ Hey guys.” Jaejoong greeted us and sat down at the opposite of the table. “ Where’s Sun?”

“ On her way I guess. “ Changmin replied.

“ She’d better hurry. I’m starving. Do you think she’s gonna run away from spending us?” Jaejoong asked.

“ I guess not. Sun keeps her promises, and she’s not stingy as well. Don’t worry, hyung. “ Changmin laughed.

I cupped my hand under my chin while listening to their conversation. I stared at the guy at the counter. He looks kinda familiar. Yunho? I smiled at him. Yunho saw me staring at him and smiled back. He took a paper up from the counter table and showed it to me. There were four big words written on the paper with red markers. “ BUNNY, I LOVE YOU.” Then, he blew a kiss towards my direction. Oh my God ! So sweet of him !

“ BAHH ! “ A voice shouted next to my ear and made me jumped.

“ YAHHH ! What the – “ I turned around to see Poppy laughing. “ What was that for?! “ I yelled at her.

“ For fun.” She smirked and walked pass me to sit beside Jaejoong. “ Hi oppa. “ She greeted him.

Poppy is one of my high school best mates and also Jaejoong’s younger sister. She’s, well you can call her a prankster or whatever.

“ So,” Poppy started. “ Are you having a mouth cramp or something? “

I gave her a quizzical look. “ No? “

“ Then what’s with that perverted smile on your face all the time? “ Her mouth twitched.

Okay, that made me flushed. I didn’t know I was actually smiling.

“ I saw you staring at the guy over there and then you started smiling that wow-I’m-in-love smile. What? You like him? “ She gestured to the guy at the counter.

“ NO ! “ I shouted. The three of them look at me with a bewildered expression. “ I was… I was… looking at the counter, but I’m not staring at the guy okay? “

They continued to look at me.

“ I was… trying to figure out what to have for lunch.” I said, trying to keep my voice calm. “ So, what do you guys want for lunch? “ I tried to change the topic.

Poppy wanted to say something but Changmin cut her off. “ Double cheese egg toast ! “ He says excitedly.

Changmin always gets so hyper when it comes to food.

“ Hey, who’s that? New student?” Poppy asked all of a sudden, gesturing to the entrance.

I turned around to look. It’s Yunho. I stand up and waved. “ Yunho ! Over here !”

He saw me and strolled over to join us. Someone is following right behind him. Sun?

Sun looked back at me with a surprise expression.

“ Hey, Bunny.” Yunho greeted me. Sun moved forward. “ Oh, this is Sun.” He introduced.

“ Oh, we know each other.” I smiled.

“ Yeah, she’s one of my best friend.” Sun smiled too. “ And I’m supposed to spend her lunch today.” She continued dryly. I giggled.

“ Really? Wow… that’s great!” Yunho smiled back. He turned around to face the others. “ Hi “ He greeted them.

“ Hello ~ “ Changmin, Jaejoong and Poppy waved at him.

“ Umm… so, this is Changmin, Jaejoong and Poppy.” I introduced them. “ Everyone, this is Yunho. He’s a new student.”

“ Oh? Which school are you from?” Jaejoong asked when they shook hands.

“ Gwangju High School.” Yunho replied politely.

“ Oh I see. “ Jaejoong smiled.

“ I’m starving.” Changmin pouted, eyeing Sun.

“ Fine fine fine.” Sun grumbled. “ What do you guys want to eat? “

“ Turkey toast ! “ “ Double cheese egg toast ! “ “ Tomachi pasta ! “ “Cheese macaroni ! “ Everyone shouted at once.

“ Wait! One by one please? “ Sun pleaded.

“ Hey, since it’s my first day here. How about I spend you guys?” Yunho offered.

“ Huh? But, is that okay? “ I asked worriedly.

“ Of course it is ! I’ve got all your orders. Be right back.” He smiled. “ Jaejoong-shi, can you help me to get those food? “

“ Oh sure! “ Jaejoong stood up and followed Yunho to the counter.

“ But – “ Sun tried to protest but they were already walking away.

I stared at Yunho’s back until Poppy spoke.

“ Why don’t you both take a seat? You girls had been staring at him for too long.”

I turned to see Sun was also standing. We both blushed and sat down.

“ Say, how do both of you know him? “ Poppy asked.

“ He’s my classmate. “ I told her.

“ I met him at the dance practice room on the way here. “ Sun said.

“ He’s very handsome isn’t he? “ Wait, Oh God. Did I just say that out loud? I looked at the others expression.

“ Yes, he is. “ Sun agreed. Then, she looked up at us, shocked.

Poppy stared at us both for a second, as if to read our faces. “ He looks normal to me. “

“ What?! He’s extremely handsome hello! Right, Changmin? “ We both shouted.

“ Huh? Uhh… yeah yeah. He looks quite manly. “ Changmin said.

“ Heard that? Go wear your specs. “ I demanded.

“ Okay, okay. Handsome, whatever. He’s not my type.” Poppy rolled her eyes and continued. “ By the way, handsome guys are mostly gays.” She chuckled.

“ YOU ARE GAY. “ Sun shot back. “ Changmin is good looking too. Does that mean that he’s gay as well?”

“ He might be. Changmin ah, have you ever dated any girls?” She asked him.

“ No.” He replied shortly.

“ Are you seeing anyone now?”

Changmin was thoughtful for a second. “ No.”

“ Ever wanted to kiss a girl?”

“ HEY, he’s not perverted like you.” I grumbled.

“ Look who’s talking.” She glared at me. “ Changmin?”

“ I’ve never even thought of getting a girlfriend.” He said innocently.

Poppy looked at him with wide eyes and says “ You must be gay. “ with this so-called fortune teller tone.

Changmin chuckled a little. Sun and I glared at her with narrowed eyes, but she just shrugged and giggled.

“ Food is here !” Yunho and Jaejoong came back to join us with two full clays of food.

“ Hooray !” We all cheered. We started to have our meal after they settled down.

“ So, do you guys have any plans after school?” Yunho asked.

“ Not really.” I said. “ Why?”

“ Uhh… Nothing. It’s just that I want to look around the neighborhood. So, I was wondering if you guys can guide me along?” He looked at us enthusiastically.

“ Oh, I’m sorry. Changmin and I have some projects to work on.” Jaejoong said.

“ Oh.” Yunho answered with disappointment.

“ I don’t have any plans. I can guide you.” I offered.

“ Really?” Yunho’s expression brighten up a little. “ Thank you! What about Sun and Poppy? Are u girls coming with us?”

“ Uhh… I have to help my mom with work at her shop. I’m sorry.” Sun said sadly.

“ I’ve got other plans too.” Poppy said while chewing on her bun. “ You both have fun. Thanks for the lunch anyway.” She smiled.

“ Welcome.” Yunho smiled back. “ I’ll meet you at your house after school okay?” Yunho turned to look at me.

“ M-m-my house?” I was caught off guard. “ S-s-sure !”

“ Okay, write me your address later.” He smiled and continued with his meal.

Oh my God. This is totally the best day of my life ! I’m going out with my prince ! Just the two of us !
