Chapter One

“Stop. Spacing. Out! “

Something whacked the back of my head.

“……Uh? …Ow.” Rubbing my head, I turned around. “What? “

Sunny rolled her eyes, “ You’re here to help me look for heels okay, not dreaming!”

“I wasn’t dreaming! I was just.. looking for shoes stores!!” I said defensively.

“Oh yeah? With your eye closed? “ She shot back at me, then stormed off into some random shoe store.

“Aw, look what’ve you done..You better buy her lunch today.” Poppy laughed, walking faster to catch up with Sunny.

I’m at the mall with two of my craziest buddies, Poppy and Sunny. Poppy is my one of my closest buds since high school. This girI is extremely tall and has flawless skin. She has a beautiful figure and hair that is struggling to grow. I’ve known Sunny since we’re at standard 1. She comes to my house almost every day for like 10 years. She has this perfectly long and wavy hair almost down to her waist. And not to mention extremely huge eyes. She started wearing contact lens, and that make her eyes even bigger.


 It’s a good thing these two gorgeous bitches are my best friends. Or I might just have to kill them.

And Poppy and Sunny had known each other since they’re small. Small world huh?

They’re both into dancing and are now searching for the perfect dancing heels for the prom night. Which I’m not going. But I’m doing this major sacrifice for them to go shoe shopping with them instead of staying at home reading fan fictions. I’m such a good friend. J

After trying several heels, Sunny finally got the heels she wanted. We walked out the store together.

“ I haven’t got my shoes..” Poppy pouted.

“But I’m starving. “ Sunny patted her stomach. Eyeing me knowingly. I groaned.

“Let’s go eat then, we can find my shoes later. I’m hungry too.” Poppy started.

HEY! You’re not helping at all!” I yelled at her. But she just shrugged and said “ Well, I’m really hungry after all these shoes hunting.”

“Okay fine, but I’m not treating you.”  I replied

“Whatever, so what were you dreaming about just now, your dream man again?”  She teased.

I blushed, “ Yeah, I know it’s gonna happen. Some day..” 

“ It won’t if you keep expecting it to happen. Love happens when you least expected it.”

“It won’t hurt to dream. Now back to my fantasy world!” I thought, smiling inwardly.

Not realizing my besties was nowhere to be seen, I swung my bag onto my shoulder and let my imaginations run away with me. This was always dangerous.

“My prince.. when is he going to show up! Right now? Maybe I’ll bump into my handsome prince today..”

Somehow at this point, my inspiration dried up and I began to think how my love-at-first-sight is going to happen.

“I’ll bump into him..then he will catch hold of me, with his strong muscular arms..Our gaze met. At that moment we both shall know..that we’re meant to be together.” Adding fireworks in the background into  my imaginations.

“ Then we shall have our-“

“OWW!”


Not realizing I’ve knocked into someone, I opened my eyes and saw it was a guy.

“Oh wow, maybe this is it. He’s the One. “


The flashbacks of my fantasies started flowing into my mind. I closed my eyes and wait for the strong muscular arms to catch my fall.

*BUMP!*


My butt fall onto the ground.

Lying on the ground painfully, I raised my head


“Why-

The guy was lying on the floor too. Seems like I knocked onto his chest pretty hard too.

“So that was why he didn’t catch me”  I heaved a massive sigh of regret.

“OMO are you okay, Bunny?! “ Out of nowhere, Poppy and Sunny rushed to my side.

“Yeah I think so..” Feeling dizzy. The guy was getting up. And I looked at his face clearly, for the first time.
