Chapter Two

“Oh. My. God. Hottest. Guy. In. The. Universe.”  My head spins at the sight of him. He got up and walked towards me. “Oh. My. God. Oh. My. God. “

“Are you okay? “ I swooned at his manly voice. This is the first time someone I’ve bumped into actually ask if I’m okay! They usually just went and say “ WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING STUPID! “

“ I- .. “ realizing I’m still on the floor, Embarrased, I quickly got up. Heels slipping as I did so. I fell on my back once again.

“Oh god, her clumsy genes are active today.” Poppy muttered.

Blushing so hard, the handsome man helped me to get up on my feet. “ I’m going to kill that Poppy. “ I cursed under my breath.

“What did you say?” he asked, gazing at me with concern.

“Uh- N-Nothing. Just ..my head is kinda pain right now. “ Looking up at him, which was a mistake. His eyes are so beautiful.  I can die happy now.

“Are you sure? Maybe you should go somewhere and rest. That was some bad fall.” He scooped me up in a bridal style.

I widen my eyes,  blushed again. “ Uh- You don’t need to carry me, I can walk..” I said quietly..

“Stop, stop, stop! What am I saying! *mentally smacking my head* Luckily he didn’t heard me.

The truth is, I’m bubbling with happiness inside. Despite the strange looks the people in the mall are giving us. 

“What are you smiling at? “ he said, looking at me.

“Ah-? “ Fuck, I was grinning like a dork.  

“ I think she hit her head pretty hard..” Sunny whispered to Poppy.

“It’s nothing..I’m sorry”  I said quickly.

“Beg your pardon?”

“Sorry..for knocking into you..”

“ It’s fine. You don’t need to apologize. “

“Yeah she was just spacing out, as usual. “ Poppy added.  Sunny laughed.

He chuckled.

“Sorry I’m so heavy then.”

He chuckled again . “ You’re not. You feel like a feather to me.” That made me blushed again.

We entered Dunkin Donut. He placed me on a seat. “Imma get some ice for you. Be right back. “ He walked off. I stared at his retreating back. Not tearing my eyes off him.  I felt someone’s gaze on my back.

“Something is not right.” I thought.

Feeling uneasy, I turned around, it was Poppy and Sunny. And they’re both smirking at me.

“So- “ Sunny started

“- is he the One? “ Poppy cut her off.

They both laughed. They shifted places and sat in front of me.

“ Gosh he’s hot huh, and strong-  “

“- not to mention romantic~! “ Sunny started imitating him scooping up me.

They started doing this annoying kissing sounds.

“Shush! He’s back! “  I whispered frantically.

He came back holding the bag of ice. He proceeded to place it on top of my forehead.

I shivered at the sudden coldness on my head. “ It’s fine, I can manage myself. “ Taking the bag gently from him, our fingers touched. Much to my disappointment, There wasn’t any electricity or whatsoever going through the moment we touched. L

 “But his skin felt smooth,” I thought deliciously.

“Right.. So I’m taking off now, My friends are waiting for me. “ With an apologetic look on his face, he rushed off without another word.

“Eh W-Wha-? Wait ! “  I stared at him helplessly. But he’s gone.
